Regroup Readies Temporary Network to Aid Organizations Affected by Hurricane Irma

Regroup’s mass notification and communication platform will be available free of charge for use throughout the storm.Regroup Mass Notification, announced that it is donating access to its powerful mass communication platform to organizations needing to communicate more effectively with large groups of people during Hurricane Irma expected landfall.Organizations in the Southeast United States will have access to Regroup for the duration of the storm.Regroup’s platform will ensure critical notifications can be successfully delivered to all recipients — even when some networks are down and power is out.

The decision to make Regroup’s platform available for free is a direct result of the predicted impact Hurricane Irma will have when it makes landfall along the coast of the United States.

“We know from the recent hurricane in Texas that it’s critical for organizations to have the ability to communicate with their team members,” said Chris Utah, COO of Regroup. “We also know that some communication infrastructure can fail, which is why we offer a multitude of channels over which communications can be sent with a single tap.”
